I am a New Orleans, Louisiana native and current Georgetown University graduate student of journalism. As a New Orleanian, I of course love crawfish and Mardi Gras. So I decided not to travel far after high school graduation attended Louisiana State University (LSU) where I received an undergraduate degree in political science. During my time at LSU, I worked for both our student newspaper and broadcast station, covering news that impacted students. After graduating, I moved to New York City to intern with Bauer Publishing. 

 

Currently, I am pursuing a masters of professional studies degree in journalism, and I plan on being an investigative journalist in my future journalism career.
